Alicia Wincze Hughes of the Lexington Herald-Leader and Tom Law of ST Publishing earned top honors in The New York Racing Association, Inc.’s (NYRA) sixth annual Joe Hirsch Memorial Writing Contest. Law is a past president of the NTWAB and Hughes is a current board member.
Dan Farley, a former president of the National Turf Writers Association (NTWA), died May 1. He was 72.
